Christmas Dinner December 2011 We celebrated Christmas with a get-together dinner at Delicious, Jalan Pinang. A gift exchange session between colleagues were also held to celebrate this occasion.
Walk for Justice November 2011 Malaysian Bar was again calling its members to walk in Kuala Lumpur, from the Royal Lake Club to Parliament. Our lawyers and chambering students didn’t miss out to take part in this meaningful walk to voice out against the Peaceful Assembly Bill 2011.
KPUM-UM Law Career Convention November 2011 For the year of 2011, the legal career fair-Law Career Convention 2011 was held at the Law Faculty of University of Malaya. We took this opportunity to communicate with future colleagues of the profession as well as providing advice on the profession. This Fair is also a platform for law students and young lawyers to gain a brief hindsight of the profession from various local law firms and corporations. 
Treasure Hunt November 2011 We never miss out on fun too! The staffs at Halim Hong & Quek took part in the Treasure Hunt which organized by Mah Sing Group. It was an outdoor activity where we attempted to find hidden articles, locations and places through a series of clues. It was an engaging activity and fun throughout though we were exhausted at the end of the day. 
Pulau Perhentian Trip September 2011 for our 2011 annual trip, we travelled to Pulau Perhentian, located on the north-eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Its the time of the year when we unwind and get along with colleagues. Nothing can go wrong on a breezy island! 
Buka Puasa Buffet August 2011 Corus Hotel which located at Jalan Ampang was chosen as our venue to celebrate Buka Puasa celebration for this year. We had a good time enjoying our buffet and chat with each other. 
Legal Career Fair 2010
Legal Talk on Illegitimate Child HHQ has played the role to encourage public awareness and legal knowledge by organized a legal talk on the topic of Illegitimacy Child which resulted from un-registered marriage held at the KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on August 23rd of 2009. The legal talk was co-organized together with the Federation of Chinese AssociationsMalaysia (Youth Associations), the Federation of Malaysian Clans and Guilds Youth Associations (Kuala Lumpur Division) and Sin Chew Daily as media partner. We have a warm feed back from all the participants during and after the legal talk and most of them are looking forward to get more personal advise from our speaker and also partners of HHQ, Mr. Quek and Mr. Thoo. We had a very good experience during this talk and we hope to organize more of such event in future.
Buka Puasa 2009
It’s that time of the year again and for this year, we had our Buka Puasa event at the Novotel. Just like the previous years, this year Buka Puasa was also a time where all the HHQ’s family members get together. The buffet spread at Novotel was fairly good and we went home with full stomach and pockets full with duit raya.
Legal Career Fair 2009
HHQ had taken part in Bar Council Legal Career Fair 2009 which was held on 17.1.2009 at the Legend Hotel. It was the first time for HHQ in participating in this anual event. Our main purpose was to introduce our firm to law students and also to recruit any potential, good and hardworking attachment/chambering students to become part of our firm. We had a very good experience during this Fair and we are definitely look forward to participate in such event again.
Monthly get together lunch
Every month, we usually have a casual get-together lunch with every members of HHQ. We usually have it at nearby restaurants like Madam Kwan at Pavillion, The Ships at Jalan Bukit Bintang and Eden at Chulan Square. This monthly get together lunch helps us in catching up with each other after a whole tiring and busy month.
Christmas Party 2008
We decided to have our Christmas party at the Red Box, Pavillion. All the HHQ’s lawyers and staffs got together and sang our heart out. We also exchanged Christmas presents and we really had fun. Not to forget, the buffet spread was very delicious. Good food and good company really make us happy!
Buka Puasa 2008
HHQ never forget to celebrate all the festive together. For this year Buka Puasa, we had a very warm union with the whole HHQ’s family members. The staffs brought their family members together and we really had a good time knowing each other better. The event was held at the Corus Hotel.
Company Dinner with Clients
As a token of appreciation to our clients, HHQ have also organized company dinner with clients. The purpose of the dinner is to stregthen our relationship with our clients and also to get the opportunity to know our clients better.
Anual Trip
Every year, HHQ also make effort for a company trip to any interesting destination for few days. We had visited places like Taiwan, Macau and Penang for the relaxing holidays together. This anual trip is not restricted to HHQ’s members only. We also welcome HHQ’s staffs’ spouses and family members to join. We always believe that the more people join, the merrier the trip would be. It is always good to spend some times with the colleguaes outside the office’s working environment.
