Admitted to the Malaysian Bar on March 14th, 1995. He is a double degree holder. He was conferred a Bachelor of Economics with a major in accounting in 1990 and a Bachelor of Laws with honour degree in 1992, both by the University of Adelaide. In 1997, he completed master of law in the National University of Singapore. Currently, he is serving as member of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Committee. Mr. Jong was born in Kuching, Sarawak in 1982. He graduated from University of Malaya with Bachelor Degree of Laws in 2007. After graduated, he served in the Judicial and Legal Service as Federal Counsel/Deputy Public Prosecutor until 2012. From 2009 to 2012, he was attached to the Legal Division of the Ministry of Housing & Local Government and had been deeply involved in providing legal advices to the Ministry on matters relating to property development and management. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in July 2011. After called to the Bar, she decided to join Messrs. Halim Hong & Quek as a Legal Assistant. She obtained her law degree from Multimedia University in 2010. She completed her pupilage under the supervision of Ms. Chong Lee Hui from Messrs. Halim Hong & Quek, Kuala Lumpur and was admitted to practice as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July, 15th 2011. She was immediately retained by the Firm and was offered the post of Legal Assistant. Since then, she is part of the team of lawyers in the Project Conveyancing Department and has been handling commercial and residential projects as well as conventional and Islamic banking documentation.
